Chocolate muffins with organic Vaianino extra virgin olive oil without eggs
A sweet breakfast, but not too sweet. Soft, moist, chocolatey, yet light muffins, with our Vaianino organic extra virgin olive oil and no eggs. Delicious, delicious. Must try.
INGREDIENTS
- 225 g of 00 flour
- 150 g of sugar
- 270 g of skimmed milk
- 50 g of Vaianino organic extra virgin olive oil
- the grated peel of an organic orange
- 55 g of bitter cocoa
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 80g of chocolate chips
PREPARATION
Mix in a bowl with a whisk’ Vaianino organic extra virgin olive oil and the skimmed milk, add the grated zest of an organic orange, the sugar, and continue mixing well. Sift the flour with the unsweetened cocoa powder and a packet of baking powder, then add the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients and mix well, even with a spoon. Finally, add the dark chocolate chips.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (fan assisted) while you fill 12 muffin cups. (This yields 12 muffin cups for a standard 12-cup nonstick pan.) Bake for 15 minutes.
Test with a toothpick and if necessary, let them stay in the oven for a few more minutes. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Excellent for breakfast Saint Valentine.
