American cookies with spelled flour
American Cookies, those famous cookies with chocolate, are easy to make and above all very good. Try making them with our spelled flour, they are even tastier and a little healthier.
- 200 g of Vaianino spelled flour
- 110 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 100 g of brown sugar
- 50 g of granulated sugar
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- 150 g of chocolate chips
- 1 pizzico di sale
Take the butter out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you start making these famous cookies.
Put the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a bowl, add the softened and chopped butter and whisk until creamy.
Add the whole egg and mix until absorbed. Add the spelled flour, a pinch of salt, a pinch of baking soda. Knead again until the mixture is homogeneous, add the chocolate chips and knead again. Refrigerate for half an hour covered to consolidate.
With your hands, make balls of about 25 g to get more and smaller biscuits, as you can see in the photo. Arrange well apart so that they widen and flatten during cooking, on parchment paper from the baking tray of the oven already hot at 180 degrees for 12/15 minutes.
Take your cookies out of the oven and let them cool.
